Hi jewellery and gem lovers! I’m Anna.
I have spent over 15 years in the jewellery trade gaining a wealth of experience working as a designer, valuer and gemmologist. As well as my New Zealand based roles I have also worked in the UK in the heart of London’s Hatton Garden, a place so steeped in history and certainly one of the defining moments for me in my decision to pursue my career in this amazing industry.
I am a self-taught designer and artist and have formal gemmological and diamond grading qualifications gained from the Gemmological Association of Great Britain. In addition to my love of design I am a self-confessed “gem geek” and love nothing better than spending time behind my microscope delving into the fascinating inner worlds of gems.
I have worked alongside many clients over the years so I understand the journey that is creating a special piece of jewellery. With a warm and approachable manner I will always aim to share my love and knowledge of metals and minerals with you in the hope you come away with some new-found knowledge of your own, plus a beautiful jewel to be treasured of course!
I have fond memories of fossicking through my grandmother's jewellery box as a child playing dress-ups with her jewellery and I’m sure this contributed to my love of jewellery and design. I now feel privileged to not only be a part of this industry but to be a part of my clients special moments and milestones.
I look forward to collaborating with you to create a beautiful piece of jewellery you will be proud to wear.
